Description Director of Community Engagement and Strategic Initiatives
Qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • A valid New Jersey School Administrator / Principal Certificate or Eligibility
  • A minimum of six (6) years in the field of education with specific experience in teaching and administration/supervision
  • Leadership skills in the areas of community engagement, communications, strategic planning, and program development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, data analysis, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent in consultation with the board may find appropriate and acceptable
  • Required criminal history clearance
Job Goals:
To provide leadership, coordination, innovation, and supervision over a broad range of  areas including community engagement, as well as the  planning, coordination, and supervision of district wide programs to meet the goals of the Strategic Plan, Board of Education, and Superintendent of Schools.
