High School Theatre Positions
2026-2027 School Year
Description: Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants to fill several positions for the Theatre program during the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Positions Available:
- Spring Musical Music Director
- Spring Musical Pit Orchestra Director
- Technical Theatre Director for Lights and Sound
- Technical Theatre Director for Sets and Stage
- Theatre Choreographer
- Theatre Costumer
- Theatre Producer
Qualifications:
- Must have valid NJ Teaching Certification or Substitute Certification to apply
- Must have experience working with High School Theatre
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Mantoux test
- Must meet criminal background check for both federal and state as per the Department of Education under NJSA 18A:6-7.2.
- Must be able to work all days of the program
Location: Fort Lee High School
Salary: In accordance with the current FLEA negotiated agreement. Stipends vary by positions.
Dates of Program: 2026-2027 School Year

For external candidates, all certifications must be uploaded prior to the closing date of the posting to be considered for any position in the Fort Lee School District.
Selection Procedure: Candidates being considered for the position will be contacted by the hiring administrator to schedule an interview.
