Preschool Teacher (P-3 Certified) – Monroe Township UPK

ABC ME Grow Learning Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher who holds either a New Jersey P-3 Standard Certificate or a Certificate of Eligibility (CE). Teachers enrolled in the alternate route program are encouraged to apply.

As a proud partner of Monroe Township Public Schools through the New Jersey Preschool Expansion Program, we are seeking a dedicated preschool teacher for our UPK classroom within our center. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, well-supported educational environment while making a meaningful impact on young learners.

Salary

• $62,500 per academic year

Position Highlights

• Teach in a district preschool classroom located within our center.
• Classroom size of 15 children (ages 3–4).
• Curriculum: Creative Curriculum.

• Smaller work enviroment
• 8:30 am- 4:00 pm; 40 minute prep and 45 minute break daily 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• New Jersey P-3 Standard Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (CE).
• Candidates completing the alternate route/mentorship program are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities 

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.
• Create meaningful learning experiences that support children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress in accordance with district and program requirements.
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with co-teachers, administrators, instructional coaches, and Monroe Township Public Schools staff.
• Maintain a well-organized, inviting classroom that reflects children's learning and promotes exploration.
• Support positive behavior through proactive classroom management and social-emotional learning strategies.
• Participate in required professional development, staff meetings, and district trainings.
• Ensure compliance with all New Jersey Department of Education, licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Complete required documentation, lesson plans, assessments, and reports accurately and on time.
• Follow Grow NJ requirements
• Assist in the cleaning the classroom and upkeeping health and safety standards
