2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAROPEN POSITIONS - SUMMER SWIM COACHESAs a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), a swim coach is responsible forproviding students with a safe, enjoyable and competitive water program. He or she will also beresponsible for monitoring activities within the age group to prevent accidents and provideassistance to swimmers. Experience with HyTek Team Manager is preferred.QUALIFICATIONS:• Minimum age of 18• Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate and a current WSI certificate through the American Red Cross.• At least 1-3 years coaching experience in swimming• Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable swim practice.• Ability to give feedback to swimmers regarding their stroke and technique as well as design fun and effective workouts.• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations in and around the pool.• The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; to include the ability to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations with swimmers and parents.• The ability to set up a roster of swimmers, coach during swim meets and travel to meets with the team.Rate subject to experience, certification and qualification will be $19.00-$23.50 per hour.APPLICATION PROCEDURE:• Interested applicants should respond referencing posting number 27-136 including information highlighting your qualifications via email to:Sara A.
