Positon: Special Education Teacher - High School English

Position Summary: Ridgewood Public Schools seeks a Special Education Teacher - High School English. The ideal candidate

Responsibilities Include:

• Teaching English Language Arts aligned with district curriculum and standards
• Delivering engaging lessons in literature, writing, grammar, and critical thinking
• Supporting students in developing analytical and communication skills
• Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback
• Collaborating with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with the CST
• Differentiate instruction within the classroom to address learning needs
• Maintain PLAAFP's for students in the classroom
• Collect and analyze data used to develop and monitor students goals and objectives

Working Conditions: Full-time, permanent position, medical benefits and pension. Salary range is $70,062 - $125,242, commensurate with education and experience as per negotiated contract.

Start and End Date: October 19, 2026 - June 30, 2027
