Special Education Teacher - Middle School

Downe Township School District, a preschool through eighth grade district located in Newport, New Jersey, is seeking applicants for the position of Special Education Teacher - Middle School.

The Superintendent invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Special Education Teacher - Middle School.  The position will be open until filled. 

Qualifications:

• Appropriate NJDOE teaching certifications - TOSD, K-6, Middle School Mathematics, Middle School ELA 
• Required criminal history check, physical, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong classroom management and disciplinary skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team
