We're Hiring: School Social Worker

Location: Mt Laurel, NJ

Status: Exempt, Full Time (12 month position)

Salary Range: $57,000- $85,000 Based on license and years of experience.

Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities or those in need of neurological rehabilitation.

We provide a full continuum of highly effective services — for people of all ages and every level of abilities — based on best practices and scientifically proven techniques. Our services include special education, vocational training, supported employment, structured day programs, group home and apartment programs both on-campus and in the community, short-term behavioral stabilization services for children, and in-home and outpatient rehabilitation services. We are currently looking for a School Social Worker for our Bancroft School in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

Responsibilities

Operating in accordance with regulations defined by the N.J. Board of Education, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)and Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), Office of Children’s Advocacy standards, established Bancroft policies and procedures,applicable state/local/federal regulations, each student’s Individual Program Plan (IPP) and specifically the student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP), serves as primary liaison between the School, social services, agencies, family members, and residential sites to provide social work services, case management, and support services for students and their family members.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work with a minimum of two years of related work experience required.
  • Current N.J. School Social Worker Certificate required.
  • Licensure (NJLSW) preferred.
  • Prior experience working with developmentally-disabled individuals preferred.
