Position: Anticipated Technology Support Technician
(12 month position)


Description:
South River Public Schools are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, skilled, and proactive Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver with strong technical abilities and a passion for supporting educational technology.  As a Computer Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our school’s technology infrastructure, ensuring that students and staff have seamless access to essential digital tools.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in an IT environment supporting district computer equipment, laptops, peripherals and printers.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows, MacOS, and Chrome operating systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and solution-focused attitude, even in high-pressure situations.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent service and support.
  • Experience with K-12 educational technology is a plus.
