This is a 12-month, affiliated position.
SUPERVISOR OF SCHOOL COUNSELING
DISTRICT
2026-2027
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of five years of successful experience in Student Personnel Services.
A minimum of a Master's Degree in Counseling or a related area.
Knowledge of section 504 requirements and best practice models for student-based Implementation
A New Jersey Supervisor, Principal or Director of School Counseling Certificate required.
Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
REPORTS TO:
Chief Academic Officer or designee
SUPERVISES:
Counselors, Student Assistance Counselors, Community Liaisons, and any other staff as assigned
JOB GOAL:
Provide leadership and supervision of the counseling services grades K-12, while collaborating with building leaders. The Supervisor of School Counseling will work closely with building leaders to lead, support, and oversee a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes academic achievement, and social-emotional development, for all students
