Position Overview:

St. Mark Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our growing team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that supports the academic, spiritual, and social development of young learners. Candidates must hold appropriate NJ teacher certification and demonstrate a strong commitment to early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• K - 6 NJ Early Childhood/Elementary Teaching Certification and/or Early Childhood P - 3 Certification
• Strong understanding of literacy instruction, assessment strategies, and differentiated teaching
  
  
• Effective classroom management and a nurturing, student-centered teaching style
  
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction
  
  
• Differentiate instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students
  
  
• Use formative and summative assessments to drive instruction and monitor student progress
  
  
• Build a nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
  
  
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance curriculum and instruction
  
  
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to foster a strong school-home partnership
  
  

Salary:

• $42,000 - $50,000 (dependent upon teaching experience)
