Teacher of Technology (Automotive Program)

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's Degree and a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or Statement of Eligibility required with the appropriate teaching endorsement in the assigned curricular area (Teacher of Technology);
2. Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities;
3. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
4. Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
5. Professional automotive diagnosing and repair experience highly preferred;
6. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s) highly preferred; and
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent in consultation with the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. 

Salary- BA/Step 1 - $72,515
