Special Education Teacher

About Us

We're a small, friendly homeschool cooperative program running three days a week from 9 AM to 2 PM. Our focus is on supporting neurodiverse learners in a flexible yet structured environment. We currently serve kids aged 8 to 13.

Who We're Looking For

We're on the lookout for a compassionate and motivated lead teacher with special education experience. The ideal candidate:

• Values individualized learning
• Works closely with families and staff to create personalized homeschool learning goals
• Is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally at their own pace
• Has experience with twice exceptional and pathological demand avoidant profiles (a plus!)
• Can tutor high school level math (preferred)

Your Role

As the lead teacher, you'll collaborate with the program director and other teaching staff. Together, you'll develop and implement exciting curriculum plans and individualize lessons to meet each student's needs.

Position Details

This position is for 18 hours a week and can extend into summer for program camp activities.
