Description:
The Ramapo Indian Hills Regional HS District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Indian Hills High School for the 2025-2026 season. The Head Coach will be in charge of all aspects of the girls lacrosse program, fostering a positive environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.
Responsibilities:
? Responsible for planning and conducting practices, drills, and workouts. ? Provide instruction on lacrosse techniques, strategies, and rules.
? Implement game-day operations, including warm-ups, and post-game analysis. ? Mentor student-athletes, promoting academic success and development
? Handle equipment management and logistics with players and parents.
? Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful team culture.
Qualifications:
? Previous coaching and/or playing experience in girls lacrosse at the high school, collegiate, or club level, preferred.
? Strong knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals, strategies, and safety protocols. ? Ability to work collaboratively with the assistant coaches, athletic staff, and school administration.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for high school athletes.
? Availability for practices, games, and team events, including evenings and weekends.
