SYSTEMS SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
The Systems Support Technician is responsible for overseeing the technology control systems used throughout the district by the technology department for remote management of end user devices and managing district mobile technologies, i.e. cellular phones, student internet hot spots, Chromebook management software. As well as back end maintenance for the district website. Responsibilitites include but are not limited to: Support technology department in configuration, use and ongoing maintenance of JAMF, Acronis and PDQ remote deployment tools, as well as, any future tools the technology department might deploy; Provide direct support in the use of devices when needed, Manage the district fleet of mobile devices, including but not limited to, iPads and mobile phones; Provide end device reporting to the Director or Technology as needed; Liaison with other district departments to assist with technology projects and purchases; Assist with training of district employees in the use of technology products; Maintain access controls to the district website; and Deploy as a field technician when needed.
High School Graduate; knowledge of various end user platforms and devices; experience with deployment tools JAMF, Acronis and PDQ; Documented or demonstrable knowledge of managing a school district-wide Chromebook environment utilizing Google Workspace; Experience integrating Google and Active Directory environments; Experience managing organizational mobile devices such as iPads and mobiles phones
