ANTICIPATED OPENING

Qualifications:    

• Must meet the following criteria:  (a) Completed at least 2 years of study at an institution of higher education; (b) obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or (c) met a rigorous standard of quality through a formal State assessment.
• Minimum experience as determined by the Board.
• Demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities and to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff.
• Knowledge of diverse needs of children with disabilities and appropriate special education classroom practices.
• Passing score on the assessment for Crisis Management Training when required for student assignment.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Experience working with students with Autism preferred.
• Knowledge/Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.

Salary: 

• Per the established salary guide ranging from $30,550 to $37,650
• Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription benefits
• Sick and personal days are included per the WEA contract 

Locations: PreSchool, George Elementary School or Westwood Regional Middle School
