The Secretary shall provide organizational, clerical, and secretarial assistance to his/her designated supervisor(s). Under limited supervision as appropriate, the Secretary shall apply and share required levels of knowledge and skill, exercise independent judgment, and initiate independent action in his/her fulfillment of his/her building or department and the district.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior secretarial experience required with the ability to type 65 wpm and accurate data entry.
Ability to effectively utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and other office software.
Familiarity with QuickBooks and Systems 3000 is a plus.
Maintains current, accurate records of all receipts/expenditures related to all student activities accounts.
Prepares a monthly reconciliation reports.
Is to make available, on-demand, all documents related to the student activity accounts.
Issues receipts and makes all deposits in a timely fashion.
Responsible for gathering quotes for purchases.
Create requisitions for purchases.
Other such related duties as may be assigned.
Spanish Speaking a plus.
Will be required to pass a software and clerical assessment test.
