FOOTBALL ASSISTANT COACH
DISTRICT

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Possession of NJ DOE Instructional Certification or Substitute Credential.
2. Preferred: Current affiliation as a teaching staff member at Bergen County Technical Schools.
3. Demonstrated coaching experience with expert knowledge of the relevant sport.
4. Commitment to obtaining and maintaining certifications, including completion of Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Courses (Concussion, Sportsmanship, Heat Illness, Bullying Intimidation and Harassment), First Aid/CPR/AED certification, and Bloodborne Pathogens training.
5. Responsible for overseeing equipment and uniform inventory, including the timely completion of annual orders.
6. Perform administrative duties, ensuring rosters are kept current with all changes communicated promptly to the athletic office.
7. Regularly update scores and highlights on njhighschoolsports.com.
8. Thorough completion of end-of-season reports, County and State Play Off paperwork, and related documentation.
9. Effectively communicate team or player accolades to the athletic office.

Must be available for July & August practices from 7:am- 11:00 am.

RATE: As per schedule "E" of the BCTSEA contract (Athletic Department Salary Guide).
COMPENSATION RATE: $9,103.00
