QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Willingness to actively assist special education students in the performance of learning activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with appropriate building staff.
- Experience working with students with behavioral/ learning needs and/or previous experience working as an aide with behavioral supports.
- RBT - Registered Behavior Technician certification a plus.
- Knowledge of ABA - Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
- Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).
