Performing Arts Center Technician

This is a part-time (approximately 29 hours a week), hourly position with flexible scheduling. Motivated technicians are needed to work in various areas of productions.

• Ability to work in lighting, sound, video, rigging, carpentry, and stage
• Ability to work with clients in understanding, preparing, & executing their technical needs
• Ability to assist in load-in & strike of productions, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work at significant elevations, including theater grid or upright lift
• Knowledge of and compliance with PAC health and safety standards, including the ability to identify potential hazards is required
• Experience in operating theatrical equipment and tools and to see to the maintenance of same is preferred
