The Summer Assistant is responsible for leading a group of students in camp activities during the day. The summer assistant is the equavalent of a summer camp counselor at other locations.
This person should bring the excitment to camp each day with fun and engaging activities! Most activities are pre-planned, but at times some on-the spot fun is a must.
Candidate must be willing to get in the swimming pool with their group of students, lead play outdoors and indoors, create a positive atmosphere for students, and ensure the safety of all students while in their care.
Required work hours are 8:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m.
Candidate must be available all 6-weeks (June 29-August 7).
Candidates should have outstanding leadership abilities, excellent classroom managment. At least 3 years working with children is a must.
All candidates must be at least 18-years of age.
