Lower School Homeroom Teacher

Pioneer Academy is seeking a highly effective Lower School Homeroom teacher with 2-3 years of teaching experience for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative and interactive lessons for elementary grades that align with the school's curriculum.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, inquiry-based learning, and technology integration, to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and integrated learning experience for students.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in elementary education, incorporating them into the classroom as appropriate.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities and school events to contribute to the school community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree
• 2 years of teaching experience
• NJ teaching certificate preferred but not required

Salary range:

$55,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience.
