Job Description:

Saint James Elementary School is seeking a passionate and innovative Technology Teacher to inspire and guide students in Grades K-8. The ideal candidate will foster digital literacy, creativity, and critical thinking skills while integrating technology into the broader curriculum. This teacher will help students develop essential 21st-century skills in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate technology curriculum for Grades K-8, aligned with school standards and learning objectives.
• Integrate technology tools into classroom instruction across all subjects to enhance student learning.
• Foster creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking through hands-on technology projects.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve learning goals.
• Maintain and manage classroom technology, including Chromebook, Ipads, software, and other digital resources.
• Stay current with emerging educational technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support school-wide technology initiatives.
• Promote safe, responsible, and ethical use of technology in accordance with school policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education
• New Jersey Teaching certification with experience in elementary and middle school education a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment.

Salary:

Starting salary for this position is depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications
