Upper School History Position
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School, a co-ed, pre-K - 12 day school, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced, dynamic, and resourceful history teacher for our Upper School.
We are looking for a collegial, engaging teacher who finds fascination in teaching about the world and our responsibilities as global citizens. This position will include section(s) of AP level history courses (likely AP US History) as well as elective courses aligned with student interest and teacher expertise. The ability to teach in our English department is considered a plus. More information about our programs may be found on our website whschool.org/Academics/Upper School.
The selected candidate will participate fully in the life of the Wardlaw+Hartridge School, including effectively collaborating with colleagues, engaging in a continual cycle of professional development, actively joining meetings, committees, service learning, and other community gatherings, serving as a student advisor, and working to uphold the mission and vision of the school.

- Demonstrated success crafting curricula with a global perspective and framework.
- A master’s degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience is preferred, but we will consider all levels of experience.
