Math Instructional Coach (K-5)

The Math Instructional Coach leads the development and improvement of K-5 teachers via training, informal, non-evaluative observations, model lessons, feedback conversations, data analysis, and more. The Math Coach serves as the mathematics content expert and provides support on curriculum, high-quality interactions, and the best practices for implementing math instruction using the Go Math Program. 

Term:  10-month position

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 highly effective years of experience as a Math Teacher or Coach
• Certification in specific content areas
• Understanding and experience with Mathematics Workshop Model
• Leadership experience within mathematics
• Record of positive classroom experiences
• Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred; not required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of grade-level standards 
• Ability to disaggregate, interpret, and analyze assessment data
• Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
