Multilingual Teacher Coordinator

Staff Needed:  One (1) Multilingual Teacher Coordinator
  
Qualifications:
 

• Appropriate New Jersey Teacher Certification and Bilingual Certification (Spanish or HQT)
• Knowledgeable of NJSLA, ACCESS, WIDA and effective instructional practices and strategies
• Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction
• Experience working with elementary students
• Google platform awareness
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
• Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others
• Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators, and the community
• Conduct PLC training
• Coach new teachers
• Assist administration in conducting needs assessments, develop improvement plans, coordinate program initiatives, and evaluate student proficiency, and program effectiveness
• Communicate performance data, improvement plans, and program activities to school staff, students, and parents
• Monitor the ASPS school plan and serve on the leadership team for Multilingual

• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
