Saint John the Apostle School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Early Elementary to join our faculty.
The ideal candidate will create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment while providing engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction. The teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to meet the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our students.
Candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to helping young learners grow and succeed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

New Jersey teaching certification preferred

Elementary classroom experience preferred

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families

Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
Compensation:
This is a per diem position with a daily rate of $150–$220 per day, based on qualifications and experience.
