QUALIFICATIONS:

NJ Certificate - Teacher of English as a Second Language OR Bilingual Elementary required
Willingness to acquire and/or maintain certification to administer WIDA Screener, Online Screener, Remote Screener, and MODEL assessment tools, as applicable
Knowlege of NJDOE Procedures for Entry and Exit of English Learners
Knowledge of English Language proficency development and acquisition
Willingness to support newly registered students and their parents/guardians, as they aclimate to the district and schools
Excellent communication & organization skills

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
$25/hour, not to exceed $1400 (not grant funded)
Orientation Meeting and Summer of 2025 (between 7/1/2025 - 8/1/2025) - Dates and location to be determined, based on new student registrations
