Computer Science & Engineering classrooms at The Hun School are at the epicenter of creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Courses taught in this department include Introduction to Coding, AP Computer Science, Robotics and Engineering Design, and cutting-edge electives such as Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have experience in one of these areas and familiarity with Javascript, Java, Python, Arduino, and/or Tetrix Robotics as well as experience teaching AP Computer Science courses. A bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred;

Three years of full-time teaching experience is preferred, but other relevant experience will certainly be considered;

Knowledge of K-12 Computer Science standards and frameworks;

Experience with Project-Based Learning;

Familiarity with Javascript, Java, Python, Arduino and/or Tetrix Robotics;

Ability and versatility to teach a range of courses in the discipline;

Annual Salary Range: $56,000 to $90,000 The starting salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
