Full-Time Bus Driver/NJ Substitute Teacher

Position to begin immediately.

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Full-Time Bus Driver / NJ Substitute Teacher to join our school community. This dual-role position is responsible for safely transporting students during morning and afternoon bus routes while also serving as a substitute teacher as needed during the school day.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school bus routes for morning and afternoon student transportation
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment on school property
• Provide classroom coverage and instruction in the absence of regular teachers
• Follow lesson plans and school policies while supporting student learning
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families while upholding the mission and values of Catholic education

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license with P & S endorsements and clean driving record required
  (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid New Jersey Substitute Teacher Certificate required
  (or willingness/eligibility to obtain)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
• Strong communication, professionalism, classroom management, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk, bend, climb stairs, and move throughout the school building and grounds
• Must be able to lift and carry moderate amounts of weight

Salary & Benefits

• The salary offered will be based on experience and qualifications 
• The salary range for this full-time position is between $30,000 and $45,000 (with an additional 2 hours of Bus Driver pay for PM run).  Full-time positions offer a variety of benefits, including health insurance, dental, vision, 403b and paid time off.
