Maintenance Custodian Second Shift

Responsibilities:

• Must be physically able to perform maintenance.
• Must possess a driver's license.
• Responsible for maintenance of the district buildings and grounds, and the supervision of the evening custodial staff within the district.
• Maintenance includes but is not limited to; general repair, mechanical, electrical, facility carpentry and plumbing.
• Building management system controls and HVAC knowledge is a plus.
• Makes inspections of all buildings and reports issues.
• Maintains inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies.
• Availability for emergency work/calls as necessary.
• Must be present for snow removal operations in the district.  Experience with snow blowers, salters and plowing a plus.
• Assists with setting up and breaking down after-school events, summer stripping and waxing, and covering custodial sections.
• Reports to the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.

Schedule:

• Fulltime
• 8-hour shift
• Monday-Friday
• Second shift 

Education:

• High School or equivalent (required)
• Trade certification (preferred)
• Black Seal 

Experience:

• School custodial experience
• School maintenance experience

Salary Range:

$40,000 to $60,000 pending experience
