Ranney School is an Age 3-Grade 12 independent, college preparatory school based in Tinton Falls, NJ. The Middle School (grades 6, 7, 8) seeks a Spanish teacher.  For the 2026-27 school year, this position will include teaching five sections of Middle School Spanish and serving as a Middle School Advisor.

 

Candidates will ideally have an advanced degree in languages or education or a related field and middle school teaching experience.

Primary? ?Job? ?Responsibilities:

  • Teach five sections of Middle School Spanish while satisfying all related requirements such as lesson planning, instruction, evaluation, assessment, grading, etc.
  • Serve as an advisor to a group of Middle School students.   
  • In addition to a full-time teaching schedule, faculty serve as advisors, mentor students in co-curricular activities, participate in division and department meetings, and satisfy other duties typical for a school setting. Developing strong relationships with students and colleagues is critical for one’s success at Ranney and for the school’s successful accomplishment of its mission.

 

Compensation

Ranney School is committed to offering competitive compensation based on educational attainment and years of relevant experience. The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $95,000 annually,
