Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons aligned to curriculum standards
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom culture
• Use assessment data to monitor student progress and inform instruction
• Collaborate with grade-level and content teams to support student achievement
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff
• Participate in professional development, school events, and staff meetings
• Support students’ social-emotional and behavioral growth
• Maintain accurate records, grading, and attendance documentation
• Uphold all school policies and expectations

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree: Education or a related field
• Certification: Valid teaching certification or CE in K-6 (Elementary), Alternate Route considered
• Experience: Proven experience teaching at the middle or high school level
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
• Proficiency: Facilitating reading, writing, and text-based literacy
• Special education: Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Mentorship: Ability to mentor and inspire students
