Long Term Special Education Teacher - Middle School

Downe Township School District, a preschool through eighth grade district located in Newport, New Jersey, is seeking applicants for the position of long term Special Education Teacher - Middle School. 

Postition: 

The Superintendent invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of long term Special Education Teacher - Middle School. The position will be open until filled. 

Qualifications: 

• Appropriate NJDOE teaching certifications - TOSD, Math and ELA grade 5-8
• Required criminal history background check, physical, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong classroom management and disciplinary skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team
