December 2025 - Anticipated 4-6 weeks Special Education (Emotional Regulation Impairment) Teacher in a self-contained classroom - Grades 3-4 Special Education ERI Teacher - Self-Contained Classroom - Tenakill Middle School - Grades 6-8 Must have both Elementary School Teacher and Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification OR Teacher of the Handicapped Certification This position is covered under the Closter Education Association and Closter Board of Education Collective Bargaining Agreement (2025–2026). This position offers pay starting at $200 per day for the first 10 days, followed by a salary within the range of $56,500 to $76,000, depending on degree and post-degree credits at step zero. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package with single coverage for medical, prescription, and dental plans after 60 days, as well as sick and personal leave.
