Montville Township High School Principal
The Montville Township School District, located in Morris County, NJ, serves approximately 3,500 students in grades pre-K-12 supported by a community with high expectations for its students, faculty, and administrative leadership. The district is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educational leader to serve as Principal of Montville Township High School. The successful candidate will provide instructional and operational leadership to advance academic excellence, foster a positive school climate, and support the success of all students.
Job Goal:
To provide leadership and managerial oversight to the instructional program and school operations in order to ensure a safe, supportive, and high-performing learning environment that fosters the educational development of each student.
Start Date: July 1, 2026
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or eligibility
- Minimum experience as determined by the Board of Education
- Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development, program evaluation, staff development, and school improvement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
Salary is determined in accordance with the MTAA agreement. Salary range based on experience: $158,778 - $212,494. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, sick and personal leave.
