Theology Teacher

Pope John XXIII Regional High School is part of the Catholic Academy of Sussex County, housing students in grades 8 through 12, located in Sparta, New Jersey.

We are currently anticipating the following open position for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year.

Theology Teacher

Candidates should possess the following credentials and qualifications:

• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Have experience teaching Catholic Church Doctrine, or have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Theology, or are pursuing a graduate degree in Theology or Divinity.
• Communicate well with colleagues, the administration, students, and parents.
• Keep an up-to-date digital grade book and be comfortable with technology, and using Google Classroom to post work and assignments.
• Have excellent classroom management skills.
• Be a practicing Catholic who lives the faith.
