                                                                      Farm to School Coordinator

 QUALIFICATIONS:   

     1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  1. Knowledge of the regulations of the National School Lunch Program, National School Breakfast Program, After School Snack Program, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, the Dinner Program, and the Summer Feeding
  2. Have and maintain Serve Safe
  3. Computer literate, experience with MS Word, Excel, Google apps, Outlook, and social media
  4. Ability to carry out directions and to learn
  5. Self-motivated, works well independently, and has a high degree of management skills
  6. Creativity and problem-solving
  7. Ability to work harmoniously in a team
  8. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload in a dynamic and fast-paced
  9. Experience working with Farm to School programs, school gardens, classroom curriculum, and/or the local food
  10. Knowledge of, or familiarity with, key State/Regional Farm to School partners, such as New Jersey Department of Agriculture, the Common Market, Seashore Fruit & Produce, Mill Creek Farms, Zone 7,
  11. Required criminal history background check and proof of S Citizenship or legal resident alien status.
