Education Required:
Bachelor's degree
Essential Duties:
- Provides content-related and appropriate instruction
- Provides classroom environment which promotes active learning in subject area;
- Exhibits knowledge of performance-based instruction and assessment;
- Communicates effectively, efficiently, and responsibly with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership;
- Accounts for student attendance and punctuality;
- Follows professional ethics in all work-related activities;
Preferred Qualifications:
- NJ Standard Certification or CEAS/CE
- High school teaching experience
- Experience with Google applications
Current research in instruction and best practices
- Experience with educational technology
- Appropriate student assessment strategies
- Effective classroom management techniques
- Able to design and deliver effective instruction to diverse learners
- Should be a role-model of the Catholic faith's teachings including personal speech and behavior, and Mass attendance
