NOTICE OF OPENING
(3) Summer Principal- Early Career Exploration Institute

2025-2026 PERKINS FUNDED POSITION

Brief Description:
The Board of Education of the Middlesex County Magnet Schools is seeking a lead educator to oversee the daily operations and curriculum implementation of the Summer Early Career Exploration Institute in an Administrative capacity . This program will be held in person at the East Brunswick Magnet School and Piscataway Magnet School. The dates of the Institute are July 7-24, 2025 Monday - Thursday. The hours of the program administrator will be 8:00am - 12:30pm. Additional dates and hours may be required for program set-up and evaluation (Not to exceed a total of 80 hours). The number of Summer Principals will be dependent on enrollment and the number of campuses. The Summer Principal will be compensated according to the teachers’ contract.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a valid appropriate New Jersey Supervisor, Principal, or School Administrator Certificate.

Responsibilities:
The staff member will be responsible for the following tasks:

Supply acquisition and distribution
Student and Staff Attendance
Student and Staff Safety Compliance
Data Collection
Parental Contact
Teacher instructional Support
Student Conduct and Support Services
Liaison to Building and Central Office Administration
Any additional duties as assigned by Director of Career and Technical Education or her designee

Appointment:
All positions are conditional on student enrollment.
Appointment is at the discretion of the Board of Education.
