School Principal

The Deron School of NJ, Inc. (Union Campus) seeks an experienced Interim/Full time Principal beginning February 1, 2022.

Statement of Job

The Principal shall be responsible for all professional and non-professional staff as well as the coordination of programs to ensure the provision of optimum special education services.The principal must maintain a safe and healthy school environment that is conducive to learning. At the present time this may also involve oversight of an established eLearning platform, cross-campus collaboration with other administrators, and maintaining regular contact with staff, families, and sending districts. 


  • Valid New Jersey Administrator Certificate with Principal Endorsement
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful supervisory/administrative experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Special Education
  • Evidence of vigorous leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to connect with and successfully involving a diverse school community
  • Valuing and integrating the arts as core components of the academic experience
  • Promoting collaboration with faculty, staff, parents, and community to achieve goals
  • Establishing a positive school culture that engages students and staff to grow and excel
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite for Education
