About the School
We are a 1 classroom school, providing services for the New Brunswick Public Schools System. Our students are a mix of 3 and 4 year olds of Hispanic descent.
Ideal Candidate
The perfect applicant should have NJ P-3 certification, knowledge of the Spanish language and experience with inclusion classrooms. Must be able to create an engaging and safe environment. Passionate, mature and dedicated, the applicant should have experience with:
- ESI-R
- TS GOLD
- Creative Curriculum
- (partial) Fundations
Support and Resources
Guided by the Instructional coaches from the Board of Education, the lesson plans will be pre-selected by the district. The district also supports the teacher through the assignment of:
- PT
- OT
- Speech services
- Nurse screenings
Once a year the use of either TPOT or ECERS will be implemented by the Instructional Coach. The applicant should have experience with ESI-R in both English and Spanish.
Parent Engagement
There will be 3 parent teacher conferences throughout the school year.
Classroom Support
The classroom also employs a full-time Teacher Assistant and a Floating TA. As a former Abbott District provider, we have been supported for over 25 years and as such, have created a well-stocked classroom.
