PART TIME TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

The South Amboy School District has the following opening for the 2026-2027 school year:  

PART TIME TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST 

Qualifications:

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
• Experience in a School environment preferred
• Knowledge of computer systems and IT components including chromebooks, interactive displays, Windows PCs, and Macs
• Possess technological skills as required by the position
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both orally and through written expression
• Must complete required health examination(s) and immunization(s)
• Must pass required criminal history background check
• Provide proof of U. S. citizenship or legal resident status

Job Goal: 

• Provide and/or maintain an environment favorable to learning, personal growth, personal safety, and well-being
• Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with other staff members and members of the school community at large
• Able to provide technical support with onboarding and maintaining programs, software and the like for classroom instruction and district business operations.

Terms of Employment: Starting July 1, 2026 

SALARY: $20-$25 per hour; up to 25 hours per week

The selection process will continue until a candidate is appointed.  Appointment is at the discretion of the South Amboy Board of Education.  If, and when, an appointment is made, appropriate staff will be notified.
