Lunch Aides, Substitute Teachers & Custodians

2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Positions:   Lunch Aides & Substitutes Needed (Grades K-8)

Schedule:  Flexible (lunch periods are approx. 10:30 am-1:00 pm)

Qualifications: Duties and requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

• Criminal background check required
• Pass a Mantoux Tuberculin test
• Ability to understand & follow written and/or oral work-related directions & instructions
• Supervise students and follow direction of staff
• Ability to maintain strong classroom management
• NJ Substitute Certification required for substitutes, preferred for lunch aides

Rates of Pay: 

Lunch Aides = $16.50 per hour

Substitute Teachers = $115/day (substitute certification) or $125/day (teaching certification) 

Substitute Custodians = $19.50/hour
