| Qualifications: |
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Knowledge of the following required:
- Principles, methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of a variety of heavy-duty gasoline and diesel-powered motorized vehicles and equipment.
- Principles and theories of the internal combustion engine.
- Legal mandates, policies, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the repair, overhaul and maintenance of student transportation and automotive equipment.
- Shop math applicable to vehicle maintenance.

| Responsibility: |
Monitor and perform the maintenance and repair of school buses
and other District equipment; plan, organize, coordinate and
monitor the mechanical services unit, personnel in performing a
variety of repair, overhaul and maintenance functions; and other
duties as required.
