FULL-TIME CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE
12-month; Non-exempt
Day-shift; Tuesday - Saturday
Position to begin immediately.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Must show proof of driver’s license and can drive at night.
- Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Awareness of factors of fire and health safety involved in the care of buildings.
- Knowledge of athletic field maintenance is a plus.
- Black Seal License is a plus.
- CDL w/Stamp is also a plus.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Checks and secures the building at the beginning and end of shift for the purpose of ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the building.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways, and other areas of the building according to school district standards.
- Clears snow from the entrance and walks, and spreads sand and ice melting chemicals.
- Provides ground-keeping duties, clears debris, and maintains grounds.
- Ability to work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
- Ability to work above ground from ladders and automatic lifts.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs unassisted.
The salary offered will be based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is between $39,000 and $50,000 and offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance, dental, vision, 403b and paid time off.
