Fifth Grade Teacher Tenure Track

Requirements: 

• Appropriate NJ State Certification (Teacher of Elementary)
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching reading and writing through a balanced, standards-aligned literacy approach
• Strong knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for English Language Arts
• Experience implementing evidence-based reading and writing instruction, including small-group differentiation and targeted interventions
• Knowledge of Reading and Writing Workshop or other research-based literacy frameworks preferred
• Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction, monitor student progress, and differentiate to meet the needs of all learners
• Commitment to current best practices in elementary literacy instruction and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment
