Description BERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES
ANNOUNCEMENT:  POSITION OPENING

The Board of Education is seeking applications for the 2025-2026 school year for the following position:

BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST
(10 Months – Non-certificated)
DISTRICT - Educational Enterprises
 
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in education or social sciences; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Post-baccalaureate training in applied behavior analysis or comparable field preferred.
  3. Behavior Analyst Board Certification or willingness to obtain Board Certification within four (4) years of employment.
  4. Specialized training and/or demonstrate expertise in school based applied behavior analysis.
  5. Ability to conduct comprehensive formal and informal function behavior assessments.
  6. Experience working with students with autism/disabilities – preferred.
  7. New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.

Compensation Rate/Range: $70,174 - $80,074 for Non-Certificated & $73,690 - $111,682 for BCBA
