Middle School Math Teacher

Saint James Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our faculty as a Middle School Math Teacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics education, committed to student success, and able to create an engaging learning environment that challenges and inspires students to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Implement instructional strategies that promote active learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Utilize technology and other educational resources to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction and support student growth.
• Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through conferences, progress reports, and ongoing correspondence.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school-wide initiatives and student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
