Description DESCRIPTION:
Assistant Business Administrator 
12 month, full time position, negotiated salary plus benefits
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Baccalaureate degree in public accounting or related field, C.P.A. certification preferred.
2. A comprehensive and extensive background in GAAP accounting for local and state school
systems.
3. N.J. Department of Education Standard Certificate for Assistant Business Administrator.
4. Knowledge of computer applications and systems.
5. Ability to effectively interact with the general public.
6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
 
JOB GOAL: 
To maintain financial records on a consistent, systematic basis in order to provide accurate information
to the Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools, School Business Administrator, and members of
the administrative team regarding the financial status of the school district; and to remain current on the
areas of operations in order advise the Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools and members of
the administrative team, if needed.
