Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology – Westampton Campus

Position Summary

Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) is seeking a qualified and experienced Interim Assistant Principal to join our administrative team at the Westampton Campus. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Career and Technical Education and possess strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, teachers, students, and parents.

This is an interim position that will be filled through the end of December 2026.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Department of Education Principal Certification (required)
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working with Career and Technical Education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, students, and parents
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the per diem salary range for this position is $350.00 – $500.00 per day, in accordance with the negotiated contract.

• Position available immediately through the end of December 2026
• Must pass a criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
• Must establish New Jersey residency within one year of hire
